Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston (USA)
Description of the Lewis-Clark State College
The Lewis-Clark State College is, like the two towns of Lewiston and Clarkston, named after the researchers, Lewis and Clark, who spent much time in this area. The four-year college offers a wide range of subjects and degrees in the areas of Humanities and Sciences, and offers a large selection of vocational and technical programs. In recent years the College has been repeatedly voted one of the best state Colleges in western America by "US News" and "World Report." The classes are small and personal, and the lessons are challenging. In their free time, students can join clubs, such as the International Club, which is open to all and promotes a better understanding of different cultures, or they can involve themselves in some type of sport, use the gym, spend time outside, take part in the student parliament, write for the college newspaper, take part in theatre or concerts, or even sing in the choir.
