City Profile Lynnwood
Lynnwood has 34,000 inhabitants and lies in Snohomish County in Washington 20 minutes north of Seattle. The center shows the typical American blend of small enterprises, promenades and shops. Outside of the inner city in the east and north are woods and residential areas located. Worth mentioning are the old Pine Café that still has many visitors and a nostalgic charm and the old-fashioned gas station Keeler´s Corner that is out of order or the cozy House of Clocks. People can also visit parks such as the Wilcox Park or Picnic Point Park. The North Puget Sound acts as a good destination for a trip, just like the nearby ferries that offer tours to the Kitsap Peninsula or Whidbey Island. Those who want to do something cultural can look at museums such as the Seattle Art Museum or the Museum of Flight. The city´s location between the Olympic Mountains in the north and the Cascade Range in the east offers wonderful landscapes and the climate is mild and maritime with average temperatures between 24 °C in July and 1 °C in January.
